ANGELIKA GRUNDLER
Angelika Grundler is a german born photographer based in Berlin.
After graduating from photography school in Stuttgart she was an apprentice to a portrait photographer and worked as a photo journalist before moving to New York City in 1994. In New York she assisted for several years wellknown fashion and advertising photographers and got her first assignments from parisian Publications and Fashion Houses after spending also a few months in Paris, France.
Her fresh, natural and colorful style quickly caught the eye of both European and American magazines, and various record companies. Angelika contributes to magazines such as Muteen (Jalouse), DS, Vital, Elle, French Marie Claire, Jeune et Jolie, Seventeen and Teenpeople. Her strong editorial work has led to several advertising campaigns including Evian and Kenzo.
She is mainly known for her work in the young/teen market often using real people, personalities and celebrities for her documentary style fashion series versus fashion models.
